OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
Now through 22 October

Our Catch the Fire Sydney family is excited to partner with Operation Christmas Child for this holiday season!

Operation Christmas Child is an incredible ministry that provides Christmas shoe box gifts to children in 7 nations who would otherwise go without gifts at Christmas. Giving events are held and the children received a shoebox gift, which in itself is a huge blessing to the child and can sometimes be the first gift they have ever received.  As the children receive gifts parents are moved and want to know why it was happening which provides an open door for families to learn about Jesus. After one of the distributions in Fiji, individuals from a local church had the opportunity to go back to reconnect with the community, and people willingly opened their homes to them. These ladies were able to share the Gospel and as a result of this, almost 70 children participated in The Greatest Journey, a 12-lesson discipleship program. These children and their families are now involved in church, and nine families were baptised at The Greatest Journey graduation ceremony too!

Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes are making an impact in the community, the lives of the children and in the lives of others.

For more information, or to pickup a shoe box, see Jo Cook or email the church office.

LOVE CHATSWOOD
5 October, 7:30pm-9:00pm
Love Chatswood is our monthly city outreach in the Chatswood CBD.  The street team will be meeting at the grassy area behind Lid and Jar on Victoria Ave (in front of the Chatswood Library) from 7:30pm. With Thursday night late shopping nights, it's a great time to offer to buy someone a cup of coffee, hear their story and let them know that someone cares about the things they care about, give a prophetic word, and/or pray for physical healing.  We would encourage bringing $5-10 to cover costs for random acts of kindness, but it is not required.

We are excited to be able to bring hope, healing, and love to the people of Chatswood! We hope you can join us!

CREATIVE ARTS SUNDAY
8 October, during service
Our Heavenly Father is a creative God and He loves to express Himself through many avenues of worship including Creative Arts!  Join the prophetic artists of CTF Sydney each 2nd Sunday of the month for Creative Art Sunday as we partner with Him in creativity.  This is open to both the highly skilled or those just beginning.  BYO paint and supplies.

ENCOUNTER WEEKEND
1-2 December, in Roseville

Encounter Weekends are a great opportunity to invite Jesus to work deeper in your life and encounter Him in ways you never would imagine possible, a safe place to deal with forgiveness, receive healing, and meet new friends who are also on the same journey!

We believe our Encounter Weekends are incredible and completely life changing and it is our desire to run them in a way that allow the most people possible to participate.  We know it can be difficult to take a full weekend away out of town, and sometime transport can be a challenge, so we have decided to do a local Encounter to make the weekend more accessible to everyone interested!  To do that we will be moving the Encounter Weekend to a bit later in the year and hosting it locally on a Friday-Saturday in Roseville.  Bonfire, Holy Spirit worship,  community, and local eats.  More info to come soon!

Please note that this is not a kid-friendly event.  More details to follow on our next Family Encounter Weekend.

HOUSE WORSHIP NIGHT
28 October, 7:30pm, VENUE TBA

We can worship our God anyplace, anytime and in so many different ways. So to expand on the great worship we already experience in our Sunday Services, we started CTF House Worship Sessions last year.

Our house worship nights are nights where we can join together as family and set aside time for more intimate worship in an acoustic setting, coming like little kids expecting great things from time with our Heavenly Daddy.
